Guide Dogs
Creating a joyful DRTV ad.
Guide Dogs supports blind and partially sighted people to live the life they choose.
The Work
Guide Dogs wanted a fresh take on their 60-second DRTV ad – something authentic, joyful, and a little different. Instead of the usual ad format, we put the Sponsor a Puppy experience front and centre. Enter Comet – the star of the show. Instead of actors or a scripted voiceover, we let real sponsors do the talking, sharing their genuine love for Comet in a relaxed, sofa-set chat.
The result? A contemporary, feel-good ad packed with warmth, smiles, and real-life impact. And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, we meet James, who reveals how Comet – now a fully qualified guide dog – has transformed his life. Airing alongside digital cut-downs, this ad is calling out to dog lovers and driving sign-ups in all the right ways.
