Restructuring to suit you

Let’s be real – last year threw a lot at all of us. So, we decided to pick the brains of Marketing and Fundraising Directors about the current state of the agency world. We thought we'd hear a few polite compliments, but what we got was a bit of a wake-up call.

A lot of clients stick with big agencies because they’ve got the resources, but behind the scenes, things aren’t always as smooth as they seem. We heard plenty of stories about creative ideas falling flat and strategies that never made it off the drawing board.

Why does this happen?

It’s simple – growth. As agencies get bigger, departments grow too. What once felt like a nimble, tight-knit group turns into a big creative factory. Work gets passed from team to team, communication becomes a maze, and accountability? Well, it starts slipping through the cracks.

And at Campfire, we were determined to do things differently.

This year we restructured Campfire to be more agile. We did that by splitting the agency into two 'CAMPS,' each with its own Client Service, Strategy, and Creative teams.
